2017 Keystone Farm Show

Keystone Group Ag Seeds kicked off the new year by attending the 2017 Keystone Farm Show in York, PA from January 10 through January 13. For those of you who are used to seeing Keystone Group in the center section of the east building but were unable to find us, we apologize. We were moved to a new location along the wall of the same building. It is our hope that we will be able to stay in this new location moving forward.

Over the course of the week at the farm show, our Keystone Group team was assisted in the booth by representatives from Barenbrug and ABM. We had quite a bit of traffic through our booth, especially on Wednesday. In a fashion similar to Ag Progress Days, there was much attention drawn by the display of Barenbrug products that had been grown in trays for this event. Everyone who visited had the opportunity to see the quality products being offered. It was great to have some of our current customers stop by, as well as have new customers develop from our interactions at the show.

2016 Field Day

On September 15th, Keystone Group Ag Seeds held a field day at Anchor Farms where everyone who attended was able to hear discussions on various topics. The featured topics at this year’s field day ranged from cover crops, insecticidal treatments on soybeans, corn and soybean plot data from last year, and planting soybeans into standing rye. Also available to the attendees were plot walks that showcased corn and soybean varieties, as well as a study on varying corn populations. Overall, the information provided throughout the day was valuable for those who attended. Thanks again to all of our sponsors and speakers who helped make the day a success!

2016 Ag Progress Days

This past August, Keystone Group Ag Seeds attended the annual Penn State Ag Progress Days once again. Members of the Barenbrug, 1st Choice, and Hubner organizations assisted our team throughout the week in representing Keystone Group. On display, we had a corn plot featuring varieties from both the Hubner and 1st Choice lineups. The main attraction though, appeared to be our display featuring trays of Barenbrug forage and grass products. Everyone who stopped by our tent was able to see, firsthand, many high quality products that are offered. It’s safe to say that Keystone Group had another successful week at Ag Progress Days.

2015 Ag Progress Days

On August 18-20 Penn State hosted its annual Ag Progress Days, where Keystone Group Ag Seeds had a tent as well as a 1st Choice Seed corn plot on display. Representing Keystone Group in the tent were individuals from 1st Choice Seeds, ABM, and Barenbrug along with the members of our team. Despite some unfavorable weather conditions, there was a good turn out for the three day show overall.
